HOW WE ACHIEVE SUCCESS THROUGH ENGAGEMENT (A.S.E.)
Build 2 Lead
COMMUNITY VOICE INFORMED PROGRAMMING
Build 2 Lead is a non-profit that works to empower, engage, and educate – to lift collective skills and social capital amongst young people and their home communities so they can interact with, and advocate to change, the systems that historically limit them. They offer educational programming for students and families, community councils, and workforce development for BIPOC communities.

With the help of AIP, Build 2 Lead (B2L) used youth voice listening sessions and community partnerships to meaningfully inform the programming needs of the community. We used our Tier 1 and Tier 2 model to build the B2L Legacy initiatives known as RPAC (Restorative Practices Action Committee) , P.O.W.E.R Council, and our B2L Direct initiatives known as the Pathway to Success Series.
Listening Sessions
Facilitated using diverse voices, the session data informs programming needs.
Community Progams
Developed with community input, Programs are built to directly serve the community needs
Community Councils
Create councils that continue to use community voices to inform their initiatives and efforts.
